I've recently been over to London to present my artwork at the D&AD event in Olympia Hall for an art exhibition. As well as that, I've also went to the Portfolio Surgery to get help and advice about my current portfolio. I've showed my work to someone who worked for JellyLondon, and said that my portfolio is currently strong, but depending on where I'm going, for example Freelancing I may need to cut down on the amount of different styles and mediums that I've presented in my portfolio.

That made me realize that I maybe trying to master everything (3D, Animation, Illustration etc), which there's nothing wrong with but I feel that I need to focus more on the one style or medium. I've wanted to do cartooning for quite sometime now, and I feel that I've neglected that doing art form. I've got so many ideas within my head and scripts that I've written which I feel would make good cartoons but I've never got round to doing that.

So, at least for the time being, I'm gonna start drawing cartoons more often than ever but I will still be studying other mediums as well.


Also, I've become the blackhole of DA, a user without a Gallery. If I'm gonna improve as an artist or critises other peoples work (cause it's only fair), I'm gonna need artists to critise my artwork.
I'm just so desperate for some guy to walk up and look at one of my pieces and say "That is the most SHITTIST piece of artwork that I have the misfortune to lay my eyes on." Cause at least I can ask him/her why it's shit. I take insulting Critism as a compliment (unless they're full of shit).

So therefore I've made a Vow to myself to update my artwork from now on.

Other news: Need a boat trip back to my College to collect my stuff :_
